The Story of Grace & Pepper

If someone had told me 2 years ago that I would be living on the West Coast of the United States, married to the most wonderful man in the world, starting an Organic Skin Care company, without one of the biggest loves of my life, I would have thought they were crazy.

Lexie and I spent 10 amazing years together, and I was lucky enough to be graced with her presence every day of the last 2.

It is because of her that I was inspired to start Grace & Pepper. She taught me that life is too short, and you should chase your dreams regardless of those who doubt, raise an eyebrow or question how sane you are for bucking the system and leaving a fabulous corporate job, the East Coast, your Country, a great apartment in a trendy neighborhood, and all the friends and family you have.

We were a duo, she saw me through all the products I brought home, tried out, discarded, shelved, and forgot about.

She waited for me outside the countless beauty supply stores while I popped in and grabbed a few things, that eventually never lived up to their claims of reducing the dark puffy circles under my eyes, clearing up a hideous blemish, or magically heal cracked weathered skin, all overnight.

She was there for me, invested in my products just as much as I was, and now it is my turn to honor her memory and un-shelve a dream that started many years ago.

Grace & Pepper products combine my mission to learn what we are putting on our skin instead of trusting a label full of names we can't pronounce, to help rebuild our environment for my children, and to look and feel absolutely fabulous while doing it.

Our goal is to launch a few products this summer that will not only tell you what they are made of, but also help explain how they will work for you, hopefully avoiding that all too familiar disappointment when our money is wasted on products that don’t do their job or live up to their claims.

We are very thankful for our friends and families who are self proclaimed “product junkies” and have graciously agreed to be our guinea pigs for the upcoming product line up. We hope that you stay tuned for the next juicy development!
